With just one day down, Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2016 has already set the ball rolling. Day one saw designers like Varun Bahl, who opened the show, Gaurav Jai Gupta, Hemant & Nandita, Kiran Uttam Ghosh and Gaurav Gupta to name a few. Shantanu & Nikhil presented gorgeous gowns in subtle shades of grey and beige with a shock of fiery red thrown in the middle.

Kiran Uttam Ghosh

Kiran Uttam Ghosh’s AW collection was all about silver taking the front stage. Her embroideries were inspired by textures from jewellery and included filigree work, pearls and crystals dotted through.

Rina Dhaka

Structure came in the form of pleating, Ruching, frilling and folding in Rina Dhaka’s show. Knitwear in dark tones and dressy silhouettes made up her AW collection.
