Here’s the thing. Every time my attention shifts to some other Bollywood star and I marvel at their style, even if just for a minute, Sonam Kapoor figuratively taps my shoulder with her next outfit, as if to say, don’t bother, I still got the throne. She attended the Kensington Royal Dinner along with all the other B-town stars, like Alia Bhatt & Shilpa Shetty Kundra, but she was a class apart with her choice of outfit, IMHO.
She wore this BEAUTIFUL Elie Saab Haute Couture outfit that was from the label’s India-inspired collection, inspired by the sari. Talk about a well thought out outfit. (Rhea Kapoor is pure genius, the end.)
Namrata Soni is not one to be left behind either. She brought out the big guns and gave Sonam a beautiful braided bun and eye makeup that portrait pictures are made for (like this one, by The House Of Pixels).
And then, just when you can’t take it anymore, she twirls.
I think I just died and went to Haute Couture heaven you guys! For real.
