Game Of Thrones is everyone’s favourite show (okay not everyone’s, but it should be). And while we don’t know what India would look like in the land of Westeros and Essos, we do know that the show has an Indian connect. The actress who plays Ellaria Sand is an English actress of Indian descent and yes, she has done a desi move! Indira Varma was a part of Gurinder Chadha‘s Bride and Prejudice, where she played the role of Kiran Balraj (Caroline Bingley in the original). As we all know, Aishwarya Rai played the role of Lalita Bakshi (Elizabeth Bennet) and two also had some scenes together.
If you haven’t watched the movie, I’m sure you’ve seen her in the popular Balle Balle song, where Naveen Andrews (who plays the role of Mr. Bingley) is dancing like there’s no tomorrow!
