Rajeev Masand‘s blind item in Open Magazine alluded to it and various online portals straight up said it. It seems like the Bachchan family is mad at Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for shooting intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor. This has happened before when the family was not very happy to see their to-be-bahu lock lips with Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2 (which turned out to be the most underwhelming kiss of the century). In Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ash refused to kiss Ranbir, but they apparently have many steamy scenes together, some which involve licking chocolate off each other. Reportedly, the Bachchan’s want the portions to be edited and they’ve communicated this to Karan Johar.
But sources close to some publications say that this news is baseless and they don’t interfere with Aishwarya’s work. Good only.
