From starting as a family drama to introducing a supernatural plot twist and finally reaching heights of absurdity with the protagonist turning into a fly, Sasural Simar Ka has seen and shown it all on Indian television.
Rumours are rife that the makers have finally decided to take the long running show off air because of (surprise surprise!) disappointing TRPs. Neither the 20-year old leap, nor the change in timings could change the fate of Sasural Simar Ka.
However, lead actor Dheeraj Dhooper rubbished these rumours when he spoke to a popular media daily. Well, I guess we will have to wait for an official confirmation before we bid farewell to the show.
