A Pakistani shoemaker, who is also a huge Shah Rukh Khan fan, was arrested for gifting King Khan a pair of Peshawari sandals (made out of deer skin). According to DAWN News, Noor Jehan, SRK’s cousin, asked shoemaker Jehangir Khan to make two pairs of Peshawari sandals for the actor. Turns out, Jehangir who also admires the superstar, put in extra efforts and gifted him the sandals. He went on to tell the media about his special gift to the actor and this got him in major trouble.
After the news spread, local wildlife officials arrested the shoemaker on August 26th. Reports suggest that Jehangir has been released but he might get fined for using deer skin.
