The Barbie Movie has been creating a buzz like no other film has in years to come. It was always Ryan. You’d think there are dozens of guys that could play Ken, but there’s actually not. Ryan ticked all the boxes. He’s a brilliant dramatic actor, he makes incredible choices, he can play the romantic and he can do comedy. And, of course, he also looks like Ken, he’s gorgeous.
Ryan Gosling as Ken fits the role perfectly, I will have to agree with Margot on this one. He may be just Ken at the end of the day, but he is also THE Ken. The perfect companion to Barbie, in her wonderland. Apart from this, the film boasts of a stellar star cast that you just cannot miss out on. It features names like Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa and more.
