Cheers to Mamagoto!If you haven’t been to Mamagoto, now is the time to go! The Delhi transplant
recently launched their new Asian Experiments menu, and based on our visit to
their Bandra outlet in Mumbai, it’s one that’s paying off deliciously against
their promise of “fun asian eating.”

We started the evening with a sampling of cocktails. The ‘Mexican Confusion’
(kaffir lime-infused tequila with lychee) made for a refreshing start, while the
shooters were bright and festive in a few different

Hour. We arrived only one week after its opening and it was already packed – the

very excited to meet the winner of Season 6, Brent Owens. He arrived in true
Australian fashion, in comfy khaki’s and a white tee.

The first thing that struck me about him was his laid back personality and his
energy. He had just arrived the day before and he had already sampled a dozen
restaurants, barely slept and was completely unfazed. In fact, he was ready to
tackle some more dishes after he had just had lunch.

Selcouth – A Shiamak Davar ProductionSelcouth was not your ordinary dance performance and really blew us away.  It
left me wishing I had worked out more and done more dancing when I was younger.
It also reinforced my decision to be a vegetarian. This last one may seem like a
strange reaction to a dance performance but that’s what Shiamak Davar created
with his choreography and production.  He told a story about violence against
animals, women and ultimately all of humanity.
