Marilyn Monroe: “Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.”

Well said Marilyn. Another (lesser known but equally valid) saying by my dear fashion bloggette Sue Castellino goes something like, “It’s fashion! It doesn’t matter if you can’t feel your toes.” 🙂 So here’s a look at my night out in the highest heels I’ve probably ever worn (on the upside I finally know what the view is like from up here!) Of course Ranjit Rodricks already gave you the lo’ down but here’s a girl about town’s perspective of partying in Steve Madden shoes 🙂 xoxo

The first thing I did of course was plan my 2nd bridal make up trial at Smassh The Salon to coincide with this evening, why waste a perfectly made up face?

Don’t miss the Domestically Challenged Desi Bride series for updates 🙂
Now Take a Tour With the Trigger-Happy Girl About Town!
Full credit by the way to Binal Trivedi and Shveta Salve for being the hostesses‘ with the mostest! My friends and I had a BLAST. I particularly enjoyed DJ Miss Cady’s personal wind-machine action which Keenan Tham later told me was specially requested for the show.
DJ Miss Cady: I’ll need a fan.
Keenan: Oh don’t worry, we have air-conditioning.
DJ Miss Cady: No, I need a fan for my performance!
Keenan: Ah.

Also, whoever thought of these circulating shot trays is a genius! Well done Trilogy 🙂

Oh and if you’re wondering why some people have odd names tagged on their pictures with the “at the rate of” symbol attached; it’s because (my little Twitter virgin) that’s how you can follow their fabulous tweets! But be careful, do you’re homework – don’t just pull a Miss India. *Lol*
