Remember, I listed the top 10 trends we are officially sick of? Well, fellow team member Amruta suggested we do one on accessories. Her wish is my command. So I’ve listed my top 5 accessory trends that need to retire soon.
1) Owl Necklaces
This trend seriously needs to go. I mean it’s been around since 2009! Can we have non-animal motifs please?
2) Wedge Sneakers

I blame Isabel Marant – the french designer for the spurt of this trend. This wedge sneaker hybrid looks like you’re either auditioning for a role in a rap video or you have elephant foot syndrome. I don’t know what’s worse.
3) Chunky Plastic Jewellery
The ’80s always manage to creep back into fashion don’t they? Chunky plastic jewellery had it’s moment and now it’s time to move on – switch to lucite accessories instead.
4) Feather Earrings
I didn’t understand this trend when it came out. Why would you look like you’ve battled with a bird?
5) Hipster Glasses

Ok I have to admit to liking this trend on the opposite sex, but hipster glasses don’t suit ALL men. Also guys, if you you’re wearing these specs for the sake of it , JUST DON’T.
