The world was stunned when Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise. New reports now indicate that even Mr. Cruise was taken completely by surprise.
According to E! News, the 50-year-old actor says that he did not expect that [the divorce] and that it affected his birthday plans.
Cruise was quoted as saying, “To be 50 and have experiences and think you have everything under control, and then it hits you — that’s what life is…Life is tragicomic,” you need a certain sense of humor.”
Guess he won’t be jumping on Oprah’s couch any time soon.
