You seemed to have enjoyed last week’s gossip recap so I figured I’ll make this a weekly thing! So lets see… what WAS cooking in Bollywood this week?
This just in: Aamir Khan continues to live up to his Bollywood “prankster” reputation. His latest victim? Anushka Sharma! *LOL* Meanwhile my Industrywalla reported icy vibes between Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan at Salman Khan’s New Year’s Eve bash. Here’s why Salman’s baby bro is SO upset with ‘ol doe eyes *lol*
Meanwhile, Malaika Arora Khan and Neha Dhupia took up blades against Bollywood boys and their facial hair for a PR activity this week, which I thought was pretty hilarious!
Madhuri Dixit Nene, Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin all broke out their desi style for the premiere of Dedh Ishqiya (sadly, we were not impressed, waaaay too aunty.) We did love the movie however and gave it a whopping 3.5 stars – read Rashmi’s review!
In birthdays this week: Bipasha Basu celebrated her 35th on January 7th. Farhan Akhtar turned 40 on the 9th along with Farah Khan who turned 49. While the Madhubala of Television and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa champion – Dhrasti Dhami – turned 29 on the 10th.
My Industrywalla reported that Eli Avram was shocked to be mistaken for Sunny Leone by (not her) fans recently, but most MissMalini.com readers thought she should have taken that as a compliment 🙂 We also heard that a little Parineeti Chopra v/s Alia Bhatt rivalry brewing, and it’s possible Parineeti is developing a bit of a diva-esque attitude, uh oh!
Industrywalla also reported that Hrithik Roshan managed to get Arjun Rampal dropped from his agency. While Anushka Sharma is pissed off at Karan Johar for constantly bringing up her name on Koffee With Karan – this time hinting at a fued with Deepika Padukone. And since you wanted to know if Sonakshi Sinha and Shahid Kapoor are dating, we found out!
Harman Baweja appears to be pulling out all the stops to impress girlfriend Bipasha Basu and now I’m hearing wedding rumours hot on the heels of John Abraham‘s marriage admission, (which Bips was unfazed by I’ll have you know.)
Manyata Dutt was hospitalized which is why Sunjay Dutt is out on parole this month and Salman Khan decided to help a brother out, and gave Hrithik Roshan some marriage advice.

Vidyut Jammwal & Kangana Ranaut have replaced Shahid Kapoor & Kareena Kapoor as Bollywood’s hottest vegetarians. It appears biker jackets are in vogue this month in Bollywood, both Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh were rocking them this week. In fact we witnessed some leather clad bromance with Arjun Kapoor too!
We did TONS of airport spotting through the week as Ranbir Kapoor returned from his vacay in NY with girlfriend Katrina Kaif (although she didn’t fly back with him). He was wearing a beanie and his beats headset. Even the hot new couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh came back from New York where they were spotted often by fans – Ranveer also in a beenie! (Same Same, but different?) John Abraham landed from LA (where his wife Priya’s parents are based) probably looking the shabbiest of them all in shorts a baseball cap and chappals!
Jacqueline Fernandez arrived back from family time in Bahrain while Arjun & Mehr Rampal were spotted returning too but on a different night than Sussanne Roshan who was interestingly picked up by Hrithik’s manager. Babies Aaradhya Bachchan & Viaan Raj Kundra returned to Mumbai carried by their slickly dressed mommies Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shilpa Shetty.
And yup, Salman and Shah Rukh Khan continue to avoid each other in 2014…
