Over the years, Kareena Kapoor Khan has received some criticism for choosing her movies based upon who she would be starring opposite. In fact, one can list all the movies she has rejected that have turned out to be huge blockbusters. No one knows whether it’s just poor choices of films or the so called “star factor” that led her to do so.
At an interview, she was asked about the criticism she has received and how she has been picking her films of late. Considering, now she’s working with Arjun Kapoor in R. Balki‘s next; Abhishek Chaubey‘s Udta Punjab; and a thriller with Raj Kumar Gupta – none of these films will have a “big” star opposite her. Here’s what she said:
In 15 years, I guess I have worked with every possible director, maybe once maybe twice or sometimes thrice (with the same director). I feel it’s good to work with different and new actors and directors and that is why it is a conscious decision to work with Kabir, Raj Kumar Gupta, R. Balki, and Abhishek Chaubey.”
We are pretty excited to see her work with the three directors as she will be seen in completely different roles in all three films.
