These Are Our Top Picks From The GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2015!

Ah, you precious Time, you have got to, got to slow down… a little, at least. I’m yet to recover from Imran Khan’s dashing black-tie look that another GQ Men Of The Year Awards has gone past us. Without further ado, I’ll get you to the men who made our style cut. Mind you, none could reach the levels of sartorial dexterity that Imran showed that night.

Rahul Bose

Guys, take it from Rahul Bose, who knows a thing or two about style: #itscooltorepeat. (He also wore this suit to another Condé Nast shindig — obsessed much?) But wish he stuck to his previous template and didn’t go all matchy-matchy with the footwear and left out the tie clip.

Why not the tie clip? Well, here’s the thing: if you’re going to opt for one, make sure that it’s not wider than your tie. If it is, its addition would seem like an afterthought and an effortlessly stylish man never leaves his house with one-too-many accessory.

But, I can’t recommend the tie clip enough to elevate your suited up look. A tie clip in the 21st century suggests that you’re a man of particular fastidiousness, the kind who exercises taste, restraint and flair in everything he does. And yes, maybe also the kind who is grieving about Mad Men going off the air.

Well spiffy, but that black pocket square is sticking out like a sore thumb.

Right, so it isn’t my favorite, but credit is given where credit is due: that’s some decent tailoring there.

Vikram Raizada

YAY, we’ve found Chuck Bass’s long lost uncle!

Nikhil Mehra

Swagger like Jagger! But we expect nothing less from one-half of the dapper label Shantanu & Nikhil.

Ashiesh Shah

Nothing to fault here — and special marks for the tasselled slippers.

Ranveer Brar

Oh, I love a man who wears his desi clobbers with pride.

Leander Paes

Is that a cummerbund I spy?

Akshay Kumar

That textured dinner jacket was reason enough to get him on this list, but those patent opera slippers simply made the case unassailable. I don’t remember any of the Bollywood menfolk sporting them before this. Muy jefe!

AD Singh

My fave look of the night: who says a kurta-pajama look is boring? Fabulously zany, this.

So, got a favorite of your own? Let us know!
