Rainbow roots, geode hair, neon locks… we’ve seen a lot of hair trends recently, but none sound as pretty as metallic hair! Guy Tang, a L.A. based colorist, has invented a range of metallic hair dyes for Kenra Professional that have blown our minds.
The hair dyes currently come in 3 shades – Silver, Violet and Bronze. Since they are available in both, a semi-permanent and permanent variation, the opportunities to create different looks are endless. For a super cool, reflective effect, you can apply the dye all over your locks. Or, you could mix it in with another hue to achieve a smoked finish. If a subtle look is what you are after, use the product to add highlights. Either way, your hair will look glossy and magical!
However, there is one catch. The dye works best on pre-lightened hair – especially locks that are platinum in colour. To ensure that you get the desired effect it’s recommended that you visit a salon and carry out the procedure under the hands of a professional.
Whilst this trend definitely requires a ton of maintenance, the result is definitely worth it! What do you think?
