Ayan mukerji is best known for Wake Up Sid and Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani – the two films which resonated a with millennials like me all across the country. I know a lot of people who moved to Bombay to chase their dreams after they watched the first movie and we’ve all heard of at least one person who took off on that solo trip after YJHD. Whether you’ve watched the movies or not, you’ve definitely heard of him. One of Karan Johar‘s favourites, he’s amongst the most promising directors we have out there in Bollywood right now.
His next film – Dragon – is a superhero franchise and will star Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. With talented powerhouses like these working together, we can’t wait to find out what they come up with. We all know of Ranbir’s bromance with Ayan but what a lot of you may not know is that Ayan and Alia are BFFs too! They’re both extremely fond of each other and he’s always been there during her biggest milestones.
