Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar‘s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha just released and the it has been solely responsible for being Bollywood’s saving grace at the box office this month. After a string of flops and not-so-loved Bollywood films with some of the biggest names, Akshay’s film has been hugely appreciated by the audience. The film is essentially a love story but touches on one of the biggest needs of the hour in India – toilets and sanitation. Hopefully, this will help bring about a change.
Naturally, the cast and crew were ecstatic about their bumper opening over the weekend – and this included the man himself – Akshay – and also his buddy Ranveer Singh, who put up this hilarious video of the two celebrating Toilet’s success. Check it out.
Haha. As someone in my office said – These two need to be cast in Garam Masala 2 right away! Imagine how epic that would be? Ranveer’s energy and Akshay’s comic timing – you know it’s going to be a winner. Anybody listening? 😀
