Rakhi Sawant has managed to remain relevant since Mohabbat Hai Mirchi came into our lives. Whatever happens, be it the Lok Sabha elections, the Indrani Mukherjea case or even the AIB Roast, Ms Sawant always has an opinion which has many takers. In a new attempt to get attention, my favourite celebrity has decided to make a biopic on convicted rapist and the chief of the Dera Sacha Sauda sect Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan.
According to Mid-Day, with this biopic, Rakhi intends to ‘expose’ the ‘Messenger of God’ by playing the role of his daughter and alleged lover (yep) Honeypreet Insaan.
Here’s what Rakhi said about the whole deal –
Yes, I’m playing Honeypreet as I have known her for seven to eight years. I know everything about her. I believe she is in London right now. My brother Rakesh Sawant and I are producing the film. I’m in Delhi right now. We will be shooting here only. Our set will be exactly like his Sacha Sauda. I promise my audiences that ‘Main baba ki sab pol khol ke hi dum lungi’ (I will be relieved only after exposing him).
Honeypreet Insaan is rumoured to be hiding in Nepal while the CBI and the police are investigating Gurmeet and his various crimes. She’s seen as the de facto head of the cult now that her ‘dad’ is in jail. Honeypreet has also co-directed and co-starred in many of his Bollywood films.
