Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn had a major falling out last year when both their movies Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay were releasing on the same day. Ajay went on to accuse Karan of bribing KRK to diss Shivaay and his wife (and one of Karan’s closest friends) Kajol tweeted in support of her husband. All of this lead to Karan severing ties with Kajol, even saying that whatever their relationship was, it doesn’t exist anymore.
But this year, due to the power of Instagram, we saw Karan and Kajol’s ice cold equation thaw a little when she liked a photo of his kids Yash and Roohi and in return, he followed her back on Instagram. It now looks like the two have patched up and in a way, Ajay’s relationship with Karan has become better too. A small proof of that is the trailer of Karan’s movie Ittefaq starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna will be releasing with Golmaal Returns, the fourth part of the popular movie franchise headlined by Ajay. As per a report on DNA, this wouldn’t have happened if things weren’t okay between them.
