Varun Dhawan made his debut with Karan Johar‘s Student Of The Year and has come a long, long way since then. Today, he’s one of the most bankable actors we have in Bollywood and has been the only one so far to have delivered hits after hits right from his first film.
He has proved his mettle with every film that he has taken on and played a range of characters – from the dark and intense Raghu in Badlapur to the sweet and naive Humpty in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania – he has made us cry and smile with him through them all.
His next release October is said to be much darker than Badlapur and we can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for us. He is also starring in YRF’s Sui Dhaga opposite Anushka Sharma and this one should be interesting because they haven’t ever been paired together. Varun bought himself his first house recently and it’s naturally a big moment of anybody – especially his parents. Anupam Kher, who has worked closely with his father David Dhawan, was very proud of this new milestone in Varun’s life and posted this adorable video of him giving us a tour of his new house. How sweet!
