Alia Bhatt is on a roll with back to back hits to her credit. Her latest performance in Raazi is quite commendable and the actress has won over the audiences and critics alike. At 25, the actress has delivered characters with a lot of precision making them even more believable putting her at the top of the pack of her contemporaries.
Like a lot of actors, Alia also wants to take on another role. Not just as an actor but as a producer. Talking about it to DNA, the actress said:
I have thought of producing a film. I don’t know if I want to set up a production house of my own. If I find a film that I feel is good and I should back it, I will. I won’t take any money for that and maybe produce it. That’s the only way I can be involved with a movie, as a producer. I want to back great content.
She added:
It’s at the back of my head. It just depends on the opportunity.
When asked about directing a film, like her father, Mahesh Bhatt and mentor, Karan Johar and the actress reveals:
I don’t think I can ever direct a film. It’s too much of a responsibility.
Many successful actresses in the industry have already turned into producers and are backing some path-breaking content. Two successful examples of this are none other than, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma.
