It’s no secret that Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker are B-Town best friends. The two bonded over the films they’ve worked together on and are always seen supporting each other. A friendship like that is rare to find in Bollywood and that’s why it was a no-brainer that Swara would be attending Sonam’s wedding. But we’ve found out that she almost missed it! Yep, that’s right!
Apparently, the wedding date picked by Sonam’s astrologer (12th March) was the same day that Swara’s brother was to get married. Which meant that the actress wouldn’t be able to be by her Veere’s side during her wedding.
In a recent interview with Radio City, Swara revealed:
Sonam entered (Veere Di Wedding set) looking very upset. I got an idea what it was about. Sonam even asked me if I could convince my parents in order to get Ishan’s wedding date changed.
Swara also tried to convince the Kapoors to postpone Sonam and Anand’s wedding so she could be a part of it. In the end, the actress’ wedding was finalized to be on the 8th of May and what a grand affair it turned out to be.
We’re glad it all sorted out in the end because a wedding’s incomplete without your Veeres by your side, right?
