Mithun Chakraborty‘s son, Mahaakshay Chakraborty has just been accused of rape. A Rohini court has ordered an FIR to be filed against Mahaakshay and Mithun’s wife Yogeeta Bali for rape, cheating and wrongful termination of pregnancy. Reportedly, the victim first came to know Mahaakshay back in 2015 and the two regularly kept in touch through phone calls and chats. The girl alleged that once he called her to his flat where he spiked her drink and raped her. The girl further added that Mahaakshay raped her for four years, promising to marry her. When she got pregnant, the Jimmy actor gave her some medicines causing her to have a miscarriage. The complainant said that he did this so that it wouldn’t be an interruption to his career.
The charge sheet also specifies that Mithun’s wife, Yogeeta called the girl to threaten her and told her to stop dreaming of becoming her daughter-in-law.
Mahaakshay is to get married to actress Madalsa Sharma on 7th of July. Madalsa is the daughter of Subhash Sharma and Hum Saath Saath Hai actress Sheela Sharma. According to a report in NDTV, the wedding will be held outside Mumbai and is supposedly a low-key affair.
Mahaakshay is yet to respond to the allegations.
