Sajid Khan who had helmed Housefull and its sequels has donned the director’s chair yet again for the fourth part, Housefull 4. While Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, and Riteish Deshmukh will be seen as its leading men, the recent buzz was that Sanjay Dutt who was earlier touted to be the part of this comic drama had dropped out from the project.
A recent report on an online portal revealed that Sanjay was never approached for the film and it was Nana Patekar instead who is a part of the flick. Reports were doing rounds that after Sanju became a huge hit, the brand value of Sanjay had increased and thus the actor had hiked his price. The price hike didn’t go down too well with the makers and thus they decided to replace him with Nana.
Clearing the air, Sajid said,
I have not approached the film to Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) so where does this story arise? Nana has been signed long before Sanju (the movie’s) release.
The Housefull franchise has always managed to tickle our funny bone and we can’t wait to witness this one!
