The biopic on the life of Telugu superstar N.T.Rama Rao has been in the news ever since it was announced. Nandamuri Balakrishna will be essaying the titular role and fans cannot wait to witness this one. While reports earlier have suggested that Vidya Balan will be a part of the project as well essaying the role of NTR’s first wife Basavatarakama, a recent report in Deccan Chronicles suggest that Aiyaary actress Rakul Preet Singh is a part of the project as well. Yes, you heard us right! That is not it; the actress will be seen essaying the role of the late actress Sridevi.

Rakul was approached for the role and the actress was elated to be part of the project. However, the date clash could be a problem. But things are still in the nascent stage and it’s premature to comment.
Rakul has been doing projects in the South and the next one to hit the screens will be the Selvaraghavan directorial which features Suriya as its leading man.
Coming back to the biopic news, NTR and Sridevi did close to 14 films together and watching these actors recreate those on-screen will be a moment to cherish for fans.
