Ranbir Kapoor had confirmed in an interview that he was in fact dating is Brahmastra co-star, Alia Bhatt. His confession came after the duo made an appearance at Sonam Kapoor‘s wedding reception. It has been going well for the couple by the looks of it as they are often found chilling with each other in the company of their friends. Since then they’ve also met each other’s family, while Alia went out for dinner with Ranbir’s family, Ranbir visited Alia’s dad, Mahesh Bhatt at his house.
The latest update on their relationship status involves Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor. A family friend of the Kapoor’s recently revealed something rather interesting while talking to Deccan Chronicle.

Rishi Kapoor has never disapproved (of ) Ranbir’s girlfriends, be it Deepika (Padukone), Katrina (Kaif), or any other girl that Ranbir has dated in the past. He has been cordial with all of them. It is Ranbir’s mother, Neetu, who often disapproves of his girlfriends. She didn’t get along with either Deepika or Katrina, but she adores Alia. As far as Neetu ji is concerned, the alliance is a done deal.
