Dark chocolate contains a high level of cacao that can help with stress levels, inflammation, mood, memory and immunity.

5. Turmeric

Turmeric is loaded with curcumin that is an antioxidant. This basically protects the brain cells against damage caused by free radicals.

6. Walnuts

These nuts contain large amounts of Omega-3 that help in lowering blood pressure and boost memory.

7. Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds are rich in many micronutrients like copper, iron, magnesium and zinc that are important for brain function. A daily dose of pumpkin seeds could improve memory and help keep the brain alert.
