How used to were you listening to the ‘F’ se Phantom at the beginning of some really amazing movies? I’d say very. But unfortunately, the four founders- Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl & Madhu Mantena of Phantom films have decided to go their seperate ways and have dissolved the company. The production house has made many successful films like Queen, Masaan, Udta Punjab, and Raman Raghav 2.0.
But now, after 7 years, the filmmakers have decided to dissolve the company and focus on their individual creative contributions. But they have also promised their audience that they can expect frequent collaborations for many films in the future.
Speaking about the split Anurag Kashyap tweeted,
Phantom was a dream, a glorious one and all dreams come to an end . We did our best and we succeeded and we failed. But i know for sure we will come out of this stronger, wiser and will continue to pursue our dreams our own individual ways. We wish each other the best.

In a statement to Times Of India, Vikramaditya Motwane said,
Vikas, Madhu, Anurag and I have decided to dissolve our partnership in Phantom and go our separate ways. It’s been the craziest, greatest journey and the most wonderful partnership of my life. My three partners have been my family through thick and thin and I can’t thank them enough for their love and support for the past seven years. I wish them nothing but the best for their individual journeys from here on and hope our paths will cross again better times.
Madhu Mantena also took to Twitter to announce the dissolution of their association.

We are extremely shocked and sad and this development because Phantom was one such creative production house that had given us films that are one of its kind and successful. Either way, we wish all the individuals a great creative journey forward and are glad they’ve split on good terms. We can’t wait for their film collaborations!
