It has been a couple of weeks since Rishi Kapoor is in America undergoing medical treatment. The actor had shared this news on Twitter and urged his well-wishers not to worry or speculate unnecessarily. He then concluded the post saying he will be back soon. Though we do not know much about his illness, we have an update regarding his health.
Rishi’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, in a conversation with Hindustan Times, gave an update about her father’s health and said he was doing fine.
She said,
He’s fine, nothing to worry about. I was never worried anyway. He’s just getting his routine tests done, like he said on Twitter, after so many years of wear and tear. He’s getting everything done, so hoping for the best.
Rishi’s family is making sure to be there for him while he is undergoing his treatment. Reportedly, Riddhima will be joining her parents in New York soon. Ranbir Kapoor was with his father in New York last month but had to return to Mumbai for his film’s shoot. He may go back to New York after wrapping his work commitments. Neetu Kapoor, who has not left Rishi’s side, keeps us posted with pictures on social media. She had recently shared a picture of hers and Rishi where they are posing against some beautiful colourful flowers.

Apart from his family, a number of Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Sonali Bendre, who is battling cancer, Anupam Kher, Javed Akhtar, also met Rishi in New York.
