Gone are the days when Bollywood celebrities used to keep their relationships a secret. We have seen Ranbir Kapoor admit the fact that Alia Bhatt and he are in a relationship! In an interview with GQ India, he had said that “it’s new for us, so let it cook a bit.” This news got us super excited! And it’s not only us who are happy for the couple but also Alia’s dad, Mahesh Bhatt. In an interview with Telegraph, the filmmaker opened up on Ranbir and Alia’s relationship.
He said,
Well, of course, they’re in love. You don’t need to be a genius to get that! I love Ranbir… he’s a great guy. What they do to their relationship is something they’ll have to figure out.
Mr Bhatt has left it on Ranbir and Alia to decide when and whether they’d want to be married.
He added,
Whether it’s heading towards that port called ‘marriage’ — which is an institution that needs to be questioned in the second decade of the 21st century — is something for them to figure out. I’m no one to hazard a guess when that would happen or which way the relationship is going. It’s life and life needs to be lived on its own terms. Let’s wait and see what tomorrow brings for us!

Coming to Alia and Ranbir, the two will be seen together on the big screen for the first time in Ayan Mukerji‘s Brahmastra. The film will be releasing in the second half of 2019 and we are waiting to see them together in the movie.
