I’m sure you’ve seen the term ‘#SelfCareSunday’ plastered all over social media. And as a millennial and gen-Z audience, we’re all about the 50/50 ratio—the harder we work, the more deserved our R&R. In today’s world, there are plenty of influential and entrepreneurial women who not only kick-ass in the board room but also indulge in some downtime.

And if you ask any of those successful women for advice, they’d say that self-care is probably one of the most important things. It’s all about taking good enough care of yourself so that you can continue to perform and outshine at the highest level. And keeping that in mind, we’ve rounded up 5 things you can do this Sunday.

1. At-home mini facials

Show your skin some lovin’ right at home. You don’t need much—an ice-pack to de-puff, a steamer to get that professional facial, and a good cleanser and face mask to keep your skin fresh and clean.

2. Indulge in a good meal

Whether you prefer sweet or savoury kinds of foods, screw the calories and pig-out on a decadent and filling meal. And if you’re fond of being in the kitchen, whip out your spatula and cook something too—that’s another great way to unwind.

3. Have a candle-lit shower

Warm showers have a magical way of relieving stress. They make you feel more invigorated and fresh. Adding candles to the scene can further de-stress and soothe the soul.

4. Binge watch a show

With addictive shows like Riverdale and Made In Heaven, one can only count on binge-watching these all weekend long.

5. Join a class

A morning class, whether pilates or art is a great way to release those feel-good hormones. You can even stretch-out with some yoga moves at home with a just mat and some YouTube videos!

6. Switch off

One of the most important things—keep your phone away. We all know that being on Instagram 24/7, answering emails and always being “online” can be a bit of an addiction. So, make sure you turn your notifications off and unwind naturally.
