It came as a shock to many when Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora decided to put an end to their marriage. But since then, both of them have spoken at length about their decision. They still share an amicable relationship and are extremely comfortable with each other. In a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, Arbaaz Khan opened up about the same.
He said:
We have been together for so many years and shared so many memories. Most importantly we have kids together, so there’s a respect for each other. There was something that did not work between us so we got separated. However, this doesn’t mean that we will hate each other. We are mature individuals; we are dealing with it with respect and dignity.
He further added that their son Arhaan Khan has kept them close and their relationship will become even better as he grows up.
I have a good equation with her side of the family too. So if we could not live amicably under one roof, we decided to lead our lives separately. Our son has kept us bonded, and when he grows up everything will be better
Malaika and Arbaaz were married for 18 years when they announced their separation in 2016.
While Arbaaz is currently dating Georgia Andriani, Malaika is in a relationship with Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor.
We love that both Arbaaz and Malaika harbour no hard feelings for each other.
