Today is one of those days y’all. You know the kind you find weird news on the internet? Arjun Patiala released in theatres last week and it has bought along with it its share of controversy (well kind of). This is the kind that most people would laugh at when it happens to other people, but would be supremely annoyed if it were to happen to you. According to reports in International Business Times, a Delhi resident Puneet Agarwal has been flooded with lewd calls and messages ever since the release of Arjun Patiala.
The whole confusion began because of a certain scene in Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma‘s movie Arjun Patiala. There is a scene in the film in which Sunny Leone shares her phone number with Diljit’s character. In most cases, phone numbers that are shared in movies are invalid but apparently, this turned out to be a valid one. You can predict what happened next. A lot of people started texting and calling Puneet believing it to be Sunny’s real-life phone number. Puneet feels so harassed that he is actually planning to take action against the makers of the film.
The film directed by Rohit Judraj features Sunny in a cameo for a “compulsory item number” as promoted by the film’s marketing team.
We hope the issue gets solved soon and Puneet is not further harassed by these inappropriate phone calls.
