Lately, there seems to be a lot of celebrity baby news on the interweb. Celebrities B-town and TV-town included are expecting their first or second babies and sharing their journies in the most honest way possible. While these newbie mommies are taking the internet by storm with their raw experiences of pregnancies, we don’t often get to know what the to-be-fathers’ think about embracing the role. But Television star Jay Bhanushali has been an exception to this norm. From announcing the pregnancy to even telling the world that the journey of a father begins right from the time when the mother is pregnant, Jay has been nothing but the sweetest to-be-dad around. His wife Mahhi Vij also revealed as to how supportive he has been about the pregnancy. Recently while talking to IANS, Jay opened up about his feelings on becoming a father and we couldn’t help but aww. He revealed that he is wishing for a baby girl.
He said:
No relationship in the world can match the sanity of a father-daughter relationship and I wish that when my wife gives birth to a baby, she is a baby girl. I have no preference as such and it is not that I won’t like if a baby boy is born but I admire this bond and since I have had a father-son connect with my father, now when I have a child, I want a daughter so that I can experience this too.
The couple had announced their pregnancy back in May 2019 with the cutest Instagram post. Mahhi and Jay are already parents to two children, Khushi and Rajveer they’ve adopted. The couple will be welcoming their first child any time soon. In July, Mahhi had revealed that in two months she was expecting to welcome her baby.
