In June this year, Karan Johar had shared a video dropping the hint about his upcoming release. He then shared another post and made an announcement about the return of the franchise, Dostana with unlimited madness. And the, he also announced the star cast which included Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and a ‘suitable boy’. We all wanted to know who this soon to be launched, fresh face’ was. Now, the suspense is over. KJo introduced us to Lakshya, the other boy in Dostana 2.
Sharing his photos, the filmmaker wrote that he was both happy and excited to introduce the new kid on the Dharma block.

The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director also said that they have introduced about 20 first-time filmmakers and seven actors in the recent past.
Coming to Lakshya, he has a four-film contract with Dharma, which includes films and digital projects. Lakshya, who has his roots in TV, went through a rigorous selection process that included auditions and photoshoots. After which, he was selected to be a part of the production house’s talent pool.
