How many of us have moved to the food counters when during the pheras at weddings? Pheras tend to stretch on for quite some time due to the mantras and Saath Vachans (7 vows) involved. While many these days have opted to cut it short and opt for novel ways of doing the pheras, turns out Pandits are opting for a more creative and fun way to conduct the pheras. We happened to come across this couple’s wedding video wherein the Pandit turned out to be uber cool. Instead of reciting the usual mantras for Savnit Arora and Rahul Gurnani‘s nuptials, he proceeded to sing Bollywood songs. In the video shared by the bride Savnit, you can see the Pandit asking the crowd whether he should recite the mantras in Hindi now and goes on to sing Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol‘s song from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Tujhe Dekha Toh Yeh Jaana Sanam. In the video, the couple too seems a little taken aback but are seen enjoying their ceremony.
