There comes in time in every fashion-girl’s life where she must experiment with the oddest of styles. Because, hey! You never know when it could lead to a trend, amirite? Take for example Ugly Dad shoes, micro mini bags and the revival of the animal print and tie-dye… Now none of those trends would be in our Zara or H&M shopping cart if it weren’t for celebrities and their fashion-forward stylist who pull off these statement pairings first. To add to the trend sqaud, we have Alia Bhatt who wore leather and sparkle together to show off the coolest weekend outfit ever at the MAMI festival!
Wearing a ruffled-detailed leather off-the-shoulder top from Osman Studio with bedazzled rhinestone cigarette pants from Topshop, Alia’s stylist Lakshmi Lehr from Style Cell really upped the ante and gave this otherwise separate clothing a fresh, sleek vibe.
Keeping the accessories to a minimum was another great decision as most of the focus and attention went to the shiny pants. A pair of pointy black pumps kept the look chic and sophisticated.
I can’t help but obsess over this combination now. It’s cool, fun and very stylish!
