Paresh Pahuja garnered a lot of positive response from the masses when he essayed the role of Azaan Akbar in Ali Abbas Zafar‘s Tiger Zinda Hai. The film which released in 2017 starred Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and Paresh’s role got him a lot of love from the audience. While fans are waiting for his next Bollywood outing, a source close to the project revealed exclusively to us that Paresh will be collaborating with Ali for the second time for a web series titled, Tandav.

Taking about the series, the source revealed,

Tandav is a political drama which has two parallel stories going on, one about national politics and the other about politics in college. While Saif Ali Khan plays the lead, the show featured an ensemble cast. Apart from Paresh and Saif, the show also stars Kritika Kamra and Tigmanshu Dhulia.

The source further added about the shooting schedule for the show saying,

The shooting for the show will go on for 90 days in Delhi and Mumbai.

Saif in a recent interview also spoke about the show and said,

It is a show based on politics and is set on a massive scale. I don’t want to use American examples, but it is along the lines of House of Cards, although set within the framework of Indian politics. The plot takes into account various factions like Dalit politics and UP cops and the whole nexus between them.

Talking about his character, he added,

My character is Chanakya-like, in the guise of a youth leader who comes from a privileged background and aspires to become the Prime Minister.

Coming back to Paresh and Ali, we are looking forward to this collaboration!
