The entire industry is looking forward to Shah Rukh Khan‘s birthday which the actor celebrates on November 2nd. The actor’s birthday is something the entire nation awaits and this year too it is the similar case. Apart from that, the hype about his next project is building with each passing day. It’s been a while since we saw SRK on the 70mm. After starring in Aanand L Rai‘s Zero which hit the screens on 21st December 2018, King Khan has been missing from the celluloid. The film which starred Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma had built a tremendous buzz before the release of the film but later proved to be a dud at the ticket windows. While fans can’t wait for the actor to announce his next, a recent report in Bollywood Hungama revealed that his next project will be with famous South director Atlee.
A source close the project said,
Shah Rukh Khan has been reading many scripts. He has been having intense interactions with Ali Abbas Zafar but that film is not happening right now for some reason. Ali too has got busy with his web series Tandav, starring Saif Ali Khan. On the other hand, Atlee’s film with superstar Vijay, Bigil, is expected to release in some time. The director was to do another film with Vijay in December but again, this project is not happening at the moment. Atlee’s dates, hence, are free from December.
The source further added that the film is not a remake of any South film.
This film will be produced by SRK’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. Atlee, moreover, will be paid Rs. 30 crore if this project materializes. If this film gets finalized, it’ll be something to watch out for. Shah Rukh Khan suits the part and Atlee would surely present him in a great avatar. All those who hinted that SRK is finished after Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero’s twin debacles will have to eat their words!
