Film promotions are an important part of Bollywood. Every time there is a film which is up for release, production houses put in all their might to stand out amongst the crowd. Similar was the case with the makers of Housefull 4. The film is directed by Farhad Samji and stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde. Yesterday, the cast took a train ride from Mumbai to Delhi to promote the fourth franchise and just when we thought all was going well came news of the Housefull Express face a bumpy ride, thanks to the fans, reported Midday.
A report stated that the actors were going to have a photo-ops at Borivali station but it had to be cancelled because fans broke the heavily guarded security and entered the station just to see their favourite actors. While the police had already barricaded the place, it didn’t help the cause.
A source told the tabloid,
The entire star cast was to do a photo- op with select fans on the platform. However, on reaching the venue, they unanimously decided to drop the plan and instead headed directly to their designated coach.
Post the change in plan, everything worked out smooth for the cast. They interacted with the fans who were on-board and spoke to them about their travel tales. Apart from Housefull 4, Akshay will be starring opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in Dharma Productions, Good News. The film is directed by Raj Mehta and also stars Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh.
Coming back to Housefull 4, we cannot wait to watch this one!
