The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 as a pandemic and the world is steadily moving towards a complete shutdown. The Government of India has also asked the citizens to stay indoors and avoid unneeded travels to save themselves from the virus that’s spreading like wildfire. Many restaurants, temples, offices and public gathering areas have been shut to contain the pandemic. Our film industry announced to halt shooting from March 19 to 31st and the call to resume the shoot is going to be taken by the end of the month.
Our favorite Bollywood stars are staying in too and doing their bit to prevent the spreading of the virus. While being at home all day long can be boring, Alia Bhatt has some plans to keep herself busy! The Patakha Guddi took to her Instagram to share what she has been up to lately.
Bhatt shared a picture of the book she has been hooked to and the caption read, “stay home & … finish a book”. She can be seen reading a book with the chapter titled “The Indefinable Nitin Sawhney”
On the work front, the actress has a number of films lined up. She will next feature in Ayan Mukherji’s period drama Bramhastra which also stars Ranbir Kapoor. The actress will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak and Karan Johar’s multi-starrer period drama Takht.
On the other hand, the Coronavirus has caused more than 8000 deaths all over the world and death count at India stands at 3. Being homebound doesn’t necessarily have to be boring. In fact, this is the perfect time to utilize and engage in activities you have been wanting to do! While our favorite stars are up to self-care and utilizing time productively, what is your plan?
