5 Staple Makeup Products You Need To Have In Your Bag

Eesha Kokane

I don’t know about you, but whenever I decide to declutter my room, I always find an ocean of makeup products in my drawers. After every declutter session, I promise myself that I’ll control my habit of splurging on makeup products. Fortunately, one of my new year’s resolutions for 2020 was to adopt a more minimalistic lifestyle, and I’m glad to say that I’m sticking to it. So, I’ve learnt how to cut down on my makeup products and stick to the staples. If you also wish to adopt a minimalistic approach to purchasing makeup, here are five staple makeup products you need to have in your bag:

1. Lip & Cheek Tint

A great makeup product that should be a staple in your makeup bag is a lip and cheek tint. It will instantly add colour to your face and make you look alive and healthy. Plus a good multi-purpose makeup product is always beneficial to have in your bag.

2. BB Cream

If you need a quick fix to perfect your complexion, then have a staple BB cream in your bag. Look for one with SPF so that along with light coverage, you’ll have extra protection.

3. Mascara

The best way to make your eyes pop is to open up your eyes by coating your lashes with mascara. A few coats of mascara will make your eye stand out and make you look put together. If you plan on wearing mascara every day, don’t use a waterproof mascara since it will be too harsh on your lashes.

4. Eyeliner

My desert-island beauty product would definitely be eyeliner. If you’re someone with small eyes, you should try using eyeliner to make them look wide and open. From gel to liquid, there are a lot of different types of eyeliners there, so you can take your pick.

5. Highlighter

If you want to glam up your everyday look, then a pop of highlighter will go a long way! You can also use a highlighter on your eyelids as an eyeshadow. Multi-purpose products FTW!
