I really miss celebrity spottings and the style they would carry along with themselves. However, due to the unfortunate pandemic of COVID-19, our country is on lockdown and we all have been sitting at home to maintain social distancing. Till we don’t see anything new from them, I have been checking some of our celeb archives. And what I noticed was that the plaid trend has been a hit among some of our B-town stars. So I thought of sharing some of my fave looks from what I found. Here are six celebrities who rocked this trend like total pros.

1. Taapsee Pannu

Taapsee had rocked a plaid midi skirt and with a white, cutwork, peplum tube top. Her stylist, Devki B completed this look with a beige belt cinched at her waist, strappy stilettos, and flower-shaped earrings.

2. Deepika Padukone

Deepika is one of the celebs who has aced power dressing with the utmost class and she did the same when she donned this green plaid pantsuit. Those vintage frames elevated the look. Doesn’t she ooze finesse with this outfit? Kudos to Shaleena Nathani for styling her look.

3. Ananya Panday

The ever-so cheerful actor, Ananya Panday donned a black and white checked co-ord set that consisted of a full sleeve, cropped blazer, and warp-around skirt. Styled by Ami Patel, Ananya finished off her look with a slick, low bun, black heels, and hoops with a black bead drop.

4. Kriti Sanon

Kriti had opted for a plaid dress with dark sunnies at the airport last year and totally added some light into the night with this look. Doesn’t she look gorgeous in her sleek, rectangular-framed shades? I love how it brings a bit of a retro theme to her airport OOTD. Her stylist, Sukriti Grover did a fab job at styling this chic look.

5. Alaya F

If there’s one thing I have observed about Alaya‘s style, it’s her love for co-ord sets. While promoting her debut movie, Jawaani Jaaneman, she wore a grey plaid sleeveless top with ruffle detailing on the neckline going up till the shoulders and paired it with the same printed, high-waisted pants. Her stylist, Sanam Ratansi kept it minimal with the accessories and makeup.

6. Karisma Kapoor

Karisma‘s comfy look in this photo is making me miss travelling even more now. But I love the cozy vibe her outfit brought. Last December, she paired a sweatshirt with plaid pyjamas. I’m sure most of you can relate to this look as this is all that we are wearing at home while we #QuarantineAndChill.
