Ever since the Marvel announced Dr. Strange The Multiverse Of Madness, MCU fans have been waiting eagerly for any hints of what might appear in the next film that stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead. Turns out, recent reports have found some interesting details about the plot of the upcoming movie and I just had to share it with you. Along with all the madness of the multiverse, there will be another character who will be joining the MCU to help Dr. Strange with whatever he’s going to fight in the second installment.

Now that Strange is the Sorcerer Supreme, there will a sorceress joining him to lend a hand. According to showbiz cheatsheet, an X-Men character that has a narrative linked to Dr. Strange and with a history of sorcery might be joining the film. MCU is looking to expand on this storyline.

Another report suggests that Nightmare one of Dr. Strange‘s greatest enemy will debut in this installment. Nightmare, for the unaware, is the evil ruler of the Dream Dimension, where tormented people are brought during their sleep. In the comics, he was first introduced when a man with troubled dreams went to Strange for help. And this is where the character from X-Men, Magik gets linked to the Dr. Strange storyline. Magik and Nightmare are said to have many fights. So if the Multiverse Of Madness features Nightmare as its primary villain, we might just see Magik alongside Dr. Stephen Strange. Magik is a sorceress, capable of teleporting between dimensions and wielding powerful spells. In fact, in the comics, she goes on to become the Sorceress Supreme. Just like Robert Downey Jr., someday Benedict Cumberbatch’s contract will expire too and looks like Marvel is laying the stepping stone for a replacement.

What do you guys think of this development?
