Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari Wagh, Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji had completed shooting a major portion of the movie in Abu Dhabi before the nationwide lockdown was announced. Now according to a report by Mid-Day, the last schedule of Varun V Sharma‘s Bunty Aur Babli 2 includes filming a special number with the lead cast. The song was earlier intended as an outdoor shoot, but it is learnt that the makers have now decided to shoot it at the YRF Studios.
According to a source, the song will be shot in August with minimal crew.
The song is one of the highlights of the film. After much deliberation, Varun and producer Aditya Chopra decided that shooting it within the premises, with a minimal crew, would be the best course of action. That way, they will have the advantage of a controlled environment, making it easier to adhere to the guidelines. The track will be shot in August once the permissions are in place.
In addition to that, the source also revealed that the remaining patchwork shoot will also take place in the YRF studio in Andheri.
