When it comes to the family’s reaction to his death, his father said he wasn’t aware that his son was battling depression. His sister wrote a heartfelt note apologising for not doing anything to ease his pain.

After pouring her heart out on social media, sister Shweta Singh Kirti also shared a sweet note about how her 5-year-old son, Nirvanh, reacted to this news. She wrote that when she told him about his ‘mamu’ Sushant’s sudden demise, the little boy just said, “But he is alive in your heart“. It is so heart-warming to think that a child can say something so big, right? She emphasised that it is important to stay strong in these tough times and advised his fans to do the same and not do anything that will ‘hurt his soul’.
