Rakul Preet and Arjun Kapoor’s untitled rom-com was only a schedule away from wrapping up shoot. It was due to the nationwide lockdown that the shooting was stalled. And since the lockdown, the unit of the untitled movie have been unsure about their final stint which was to be shot in Europe. Now, as filmmakers are slowly coming back on sets, the makers are mapping the way forward for the project.

According to a report by Mid-Day, the co-producer of the film, Madhu Bhojwani said—

Keeping the safety protocols in mind, we will evaluate what can be shot locally. We will first film the indoor portions, and then, take a call on the pending shoot. Even as the restrictions are being lifted in India, we must proceed carefully.

Helmed by debutant director Kaashvie Nair and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham, the movie also stars Neena Gupta and Kumud Mishra.

The film is a cross-border rom-com and is about the story of characters from India and Pakistan.

Looking at the current scenario, international travel is not on the cards. On asking Madhu if they are planning to recreate Europe in Mumbai to wrap up the schedule, she revealed to the publication that they have not planned anything on that. She said, “For now, we are adopting a wait-and-watch mode as several countries are in lockdown”.
