Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of marriages that were scheduled to take place had to be pushed to a later date. It was a similar situation for Bheeshma actor, Nithiin. The Telugu actor was set to get married in April to his long-time girlfriend, Shalini Kandukuri. Now, they are reportedly going to tie the knot on 26 July.
The couple got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in February this year, and were originally set to get married on April 16,
A report on Cinema Express quoted a source saying:
The marriage will be held in Hyderabad on July 26. In the light of COVID-19 guidelines, it’s going to be a low-key wedding in the presence of close friends and family members, at a farmhouse. The wedding festivities will begin soon after ashada masam ends.
This is such great news, congratulations to the couple!
In an earlier statement, Nithin announced about his wedding and also said that he wasn’t keen on celebrating his birthday in such grim times.

And not only that, I have postponed my marriage which was supposed to happen on April 16 due to lockdown. Now we all need to unite and fight the spread of coronavirus. On the work front, Nithiin was last seen in the Telugu rom-com, Bheeshma, opposite Rashmika Mandana. He will be seen in the film Rang De next, alongside Keerty Suresh.
Interestingly, Nithiin is also reportedly gearing up to star in the Telugu remake of Ayushmann Khurrana‘s blockbuster, Andhadhun.
