Alia Bhatt‘s Sadak 2 has been on the headlines for all the bad reasons. While some are eagerly waiting for the film to release, the actress and the film has come under the fire over the nepotism and favouritism debate. This debate came after the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. And ever since the actor’s death, the Bhatt family has been receiving a lot of backlash over Mahesh Bhatt‘s comment on the late actor. It was recently when Alia Bhatt was trolled after she took to her Twitter to share the poster of the movie. And now sister Pooja Bhatt has fallen prey to the trolling.
Recently, Pooja Bhatt took to her Twitter to announce that the final edit of Sadak 2 has been locked. The actress shared a cute gif along with a caption.

While she was all happy and excited to share the news, angry netizens slammed her and again brought the issue of nepotism back.
One user commented— “Yay!! Yay!!!! One step closer to we boycotting it, can’t wait for it to come out so that we can ignore…“. While another one wrote, “Boycott Nepotism products and Boycott Mahesh Bhatt and Alia Bhatt starer ‘Sadak2’. India Boycott Bhatt movies“.
One social media user said that she is not boycotting the film on the basis of it being nepotistic but because of what Mahesh Bhatt commented upon the death of the actor. Her tweet read, “Mam! Sorry, but we aren’t going to watch it. Others may be boycotting it for nepotism but I’m boycotting it because of what your family has said about Sushant after his death, won’t be able to watch it now”.
Helmed by Mahesh Bhatt, Sadak 2 also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt along with Alia and Pooja Bhatt. The movie is all set to premiere on Disney+Hotstar.
