It comes as no surprise that the winner of Miss World 2017 has the most tasteful style choices. Her fashion bandwidth stretches from sensuous gowns to structured pantsuits to some really elegant six-yard numbers. Even though she’s not much of an experimenter, Manushi Chhillar‘s sartorial picks are quite literally head-turning. Her fashion motto is to shine bright like a diamond, which she channels through ensembles that have been dipped in sequins. A swipe through her Instagram will tell you that the woman loves her crystals, embellishments and anything shiny. Famous cases in point: her heavily-embellished, V-neck gown that she wore at the grand finale of Miss World 2017 and the full-sequin Elisabetta Franchi number she wore to the Vogue Women Of The Year Awards in 2019. Around this time, Manushi stunned in yet another shiny outfit—a satin shirt teamed with a fully sequined pant. And boy, are we mesmerised!
The model recently took to her Instagram to show her followers her outfit. Dressed head-to-toe in Dhruv Kapoor, Manushi wore a full-sleeved, brown, satin shirt that she teamed with a pair of flared, sequined trousers. Captioned “Retro at heart”, her outfit is certainly oozing out a jazzy vibe, isn’t it? However, the winning element of the trousers has to be the pockets given that women’s clothing mostly does not have them! (Jk, it’s definitely the sequins and the pockets) Upping the ante out her already OTT outfit, she picked a pair of golden stilettos to go along. Celebrity stylist and fashion connoisseur Ami Patel accessorised her outfit with stacked up neckpieces.
Adding some more drama to her look, the model’s beauty look comprised stunning, bronzed, smokey eyes and brown lips. Freshly blow-dried locks and well-shaped eyebrows concluded her hair and makeup. The way that Manushi balanced the OTT factor of the pants with an understated satin shirt is a style cue one must definitely take note of.
